For the construction of the underground GARAGE HOUSE KOPER, 3 storey, floor area approx. 75 m x 70 m, it was planned to excavate a construction pit in the urban environment of the city centre of Koper, to a depth of approx. 12 m. For this purpose, we carried out geological-geomechanical and hydro-geological surveys of the area, which were the basis for the preparation of the Construction Pit Protection Plan and, in cooperation with other departments, the Access Tunnel Plan. The protection is designed and implemented using the technology of partially anchored (with temporary geotechnical rope anchors) and partially supported (with steel braces) driven RC piles with a diameter of 60 cm.
