Due to the very poor structural and physical condition of the stone and brick walls of the Ptuj Castle, the stone and brick retaining walls built in the 16th century were restored under the strict supervision of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia on the basis of the design solutions presented in the Project.
